Several organizational theories were reviewed that deal with the proper way to define and organize institutions in the public sector. Describe the basis of each theory and its impact on the development of American public administration. Also explain why critics contend these theories are not in tune with the “practice” of American public administration.  Discuss the similarities and differences between the Weberian bureaucratic model, the classical method of scientific management, and the systems theories. Compare and contrast these structural theories with the humanist theory.  In your opinion, which theory is most appropriate in defining and organizing public institutions? Which theory is the most ludicrous? Use real life examples or case studies to explain your opinion. 

Write a 500 to 750 word paper (2 to 3 pages) on the history, context and value of organization theories in public administration. Cite at least two additional resources other than your text.
